Foursys is one of the UK's leading independent value added resellers for best of breed antivirus, antispam, spyware, email and web content security solutions. We support organisations in the development of strategies and selection of products to combat evolving IT security threats.

 

 

There are 3 main roles for the Sales engineer :

 

1. Providing pre and post sales technical advice to Foursys Sales team and end users (both customers and prospective customers),

 

2. Liaising with suppliers on specific end user technical problems

 

3. Providing technical resource for Foursys internal IT systems

 

 

1. Pre sale technical advice

 

Provide sale technical advice to end users and Foursys sales
Provide technical input to sales proposals
Provide technical training to Foursys sales
Attend sales meetings
Provide technical support at customer meetings, seminars, workshops and exhibitions.

 

2. Post sale Technical services

 

Respond to post sale customer issues by liaising with vendor/distributor Technical Support teams, ensuring the issue is resolved or closed to customer satisfaction and using the call logging system.
Provide onsite techincal services to install, train and configure products for an end user.
Undertake Customer Care Calls to customers by agreement with Sales team to ensure the customer is satisfied and identify any new sales oppotunities.

 

3. Inhouse IT Systems

 

Responsible for all internal IT Systems and their effective operation
Allocate resources to ensure Inhouse software, PCs, Servers, cabling, demo/test equipment, PABX, peripherals are effective
Suggest ways to improve internal systems
