Network Drive/Share encryption
Going beyond standard file and share permissions it is possible and in some cases advisable to implement network drive/share encryption.
Utilising key chain management, files and folders on network servers can be encrypted to ensure that such data cannot be accessed(read) by any individual who does not have access to that file or folder within their key chain. This type of encryption means that even if the data can be copied off network, it still cannot be accessed unless that person holds the correct security key.
