Alerts & Reporting
Real time updates.
All the events worth investigating are shown in a nice graphical timeline as well as in lists and graphs in the user interface. You can choose to be alerted by email for critical events to get real time updates on the status of your infrastructure. Weekly overview reports summarize the relevant events and data in a nice PDF report.
Email alerts can be sent out immediately, or you can receive digests as often as you like.
With the email, you get a summary of the information that is relevant for the event, and you can choose to investigate further by accessing the Astaro Log Management portal. Periodic reports can help you inform management of your efforts, and is a good way to keep everyone engaged. Astaro Log Management can automatically send out PDF reports, showing the current status of important events and log flow.
More detailed reporting shows individual devices and the distribution of logs by severity. For each device, related events highlight whether action has been taken to investigate them. Reports can be sent out via email in PDF format, or viewed directly from within the web portal.

- Digests for individual alerts available hourly, every 2 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours.
- Each user can define report settings and alerting settings individually.
