Websense give more information on next major release version 7 - existing Websense Web and SurfControl Web customers will see a lot more functionality and ease of use.

- Web based GUI with security dashboard and integrated reporting will simplify the front end especially for new users
- Real time security by in effect putting Websense ThreatSeeker "in the box" at the customers perimeter rather than just in Websense's Labs
- SSL decryption
- Content inspection and file stripping (not just URL blocking)

Some of the features will be in the standard Websense Enterprise/Security Suite product and some will be in a new Web Gateway product available as an upgrade to existing users.

The Beta is expected to be available in July with product release around September/October. We will keep you updated as we get more information.
