Many customers choose to install the product they order themselves. However, you can take advantage of the experience our engineers have built up installing these products at various sites in the UK by ordering a Health Check.
What we include in the Health Check (Onsite or Remote)
- Ensure Server is operating correctly and is updating
- Check status of Server and its configuration (including sample client PCs in case of Sophos Endpoint/SAV
- Investigate any specific issues reported by the customer
- Perform check of current rules or policies against best practice
- Provide report to customer on findings and recommend any corrective action
Remote Health Check Using Webex
A Remote Health Check is the most convenient way of ensuring your system is running to it's optimal configuration. Whether it's your Anti-Virus. Email or Web system you can have one of our qualified engineers perform a comprehensive check of your configuration/deployment, make technical recommendations and ensure peace of mind.
Our remote access software ensures that (in almost all cases) there is no need to make firewall configuration changes to take advantage of this facility. It allows us to connect over the internet directly to your server (or machine that access the server), in a completely secure environment.
As with our onsite days you will receive a full written report of the findings outlining any recommendations, areas of concern, best practice and general system status. These checks can be carried out with you observing the system check or (once connected) you can leave our engineers to work (freeing up your time) and we will simply notify you of the findings.
How Webex Works
Remote support/remote health checks involve Foursys connecting to the Webex website. From here we email an invitation to a customer to join a remote session (ie the customer connects to the Webex website). When the customer selects the link from the email a small piece of Java (software) is installed on their PC. This software allows us (with the customers permission) to then take control of their selected PC. This does not normally involve any modification to a firewall as the customers PC and the the Foursys PC communicate through the Webex website using HTTP. The software is secure and the customers permission is required at various steps to set it up until connection is complete.
