Endpoint SDP is designed for small/medium customers - typically up to 2000 PCs. ESDP is designed to be easy to use and install, with little or no need for third party professional services. (But if you need help, Foursys can provide it by telephone or onsite.) Larger Customers with a need for more features, reporting or highly centralised management should consider SG Enterprise.

Covers all your PCs - Endpoint SDP costs an extra 15 - 20% on the basic Endpoint price but allows you to install Device Encryption on all your PCs. So you can just protect your most vulnerable laptops or desktops within the one price.

Mid-term SAV/Endpoint upgrades - if you are part way through your Sophos License and want to upgrade now, then contact Foursys for a mid-term upgrade quotation.

Future plans - Endpoint SDP encryption only supports Windows 2000 and XP. A future release is planned to support Vista, but if you need that now, then talk to us about the SafeGuard Enterprise Device Encryption Bundle. A future release is planned also to allow migration to SafeGuard Enterprise for those customers who need more facilities, such as centralised management and reporting.

Endpoint SDP and Sophos Enterprise Console - the next major release of Sophos Endpoint (release 10) is expected to include integration and management of Encryption.
