"I wanted to put on record a note of thanks for work Paul Millman has completed today.

Paul was due to visit NIGALA today for a site health check.  Co-incidentally, one of our users had a major problem with safeguard. She had continually re-entered her password to the point of locking the hard disk at power-on authentication.

Paul tried a number of recovery methods until we agreed the only method was to connect that hard disk to another laptop and recover it by assigning additional keys to my account.  This process worked a treat. We have recovered the user data and modified our safeguard configuration to ensure that this type of lock out won’t happen again.
